A triple from Bryson Mathews cleared the bases and put a quick end to a 12-2 win over Carl Junction.
After a scoreless first inning, Matt Duley led off the second inning with a triple to center. Larson drove in the first run as he doubled to center, moving to third on a flyout and scoring the second run on a wild pitch. Tylor Morehead drove in the Zach Biastock and later scored on a Peskar single to push the Cardinal lead to 4-0.
Cade Beason and Duley reached on back to back singles to open the third and scored as Larson tripled to right. The Bulldogs caught a break on a fielders choice from Biastock, throwing out Larson at the plate. Alex Gaskill singled and Tylor Morehead was hit by a pitch to reload the bases. Peskar singled to right and combined with a Bulldog throwing error, cleared the bases giving the Cardinals a 9-1 lead
A Jacob Monroe single, a walk by Gaskill and Peskar getting hit by a pitch loaded the bases in the bottom of the fifth. Mathews the ended the game when he tripled over the right fielders head.
Duley allowed two runs over four innings, allowing only two hits and striking out six, earning the win. Beason pitched the final inning.
Webb City (14-2, 3-0) will now embark on a six game road trip, that will include three conference games and a weekend double header with Rock Bridge and Francis Howell on Saturday April 21. They will return home on May 1 to battle Nixa.
